RULES IN THE HOSTEL

Following rules are applicable in the hostel:

* Mobile Phones /Pagers / pen drives/ sim cards/ Music players / CD/ DVD/ I-Pod / Laptops/ Bluetooth devices/ or any sort of electronic gadgets are strictly not allowed in the campus for students.

* Eatables of any kind from outside are not allowed.

* Students need not carry any cash with them.

* No outing at all alone, if necessary, students will be allowed to move outside of the premises in the custody of the Warden/ Teacher.

* Daily need Pro-forma shall be filled up for the needs of the students and approved by the hostel warden for which final approval will be given by the Principal. Charges for the needs/ requirement will be deducted from the student's personal account by the school.

* Parents/ guardians may call anytime their ward on the school phone nos. on Sundays between 3pm to 5pm only. In case of emergency they can call anytime.

* Ambiguities in the above rules will not be entertained at any cost Strict disciplinary action will be taken against the person avoiding the above.

* I hope that all the above points are clear and need to be followed strictly.


Typical Menu


*
Break fast : Milk with cornflakes / Porridge, 4 Slices of Bread / Bun with Butter / Khasta Bread Pakora / Bread Roll / Puri Alloo and seasonal fruit.
* Sunday Specials: Halwa / Jalebi with Chana / Khasta Kachori / Poha with milk and fruit.
* Lunch: Dal (Chana /Arahar / Urd / Mix) with deshi ghee one spoon .Vegetable curry, seasonal green Vegetable, Raita , Salad ,Chapati and Rice.
* Dinner : Dal (Chana / Arahar / Urd / Mixed )with deshi ghee one spoon vegetable, Raita, Salad , Papad, Pickles, Chapatis, Rice and Milk, Sweets tywice a week.
* Chinese fried Rice / Chowmein / Chhola Bhatura in addition to the above special meals are served on festival days.
* During school hours boarders are not allowed to stay in their rooms.All cases of sickness are to be reported to the school dispensary.
* Seniors are not allowed to go to the junior's room, likewise juniors should not go to the senior's room.
* Boarders will wear prescribed dress as follows:
a) During school hours: School uniform
b) During evening self-study : Kurta Pyjama (Summers) and trousers, fullshirt and sweater (Winters), Blazor wih school monogram.
c) During Games: Sports dress with house colour T. shirts.
d) During meals: School uniform for breakfast and lunch on working days. Sports dress for meals will be same as for self study time.
e) Outing: School uniform.
f) Off time: Casual dress.

* They will keep their rooms neat, tidy and well kept.
* Regular bath, haircut, daily polishing of shoes, nails properly clipped and oral hygiene are a must.
* Boarders are not allowed to use any electrical appliances / gadgets - e.g. heater, iron, transistor, radio, T.V. Etc. in their rooms.
* School is not responsible for loss of any valuables.They should not keep cash exceeding Rs. 50/-. Pocket money should be deposited with Shri D.P. Singh the school Vaidya Ji in the hostel.
* Any Boarder found in possession of objectionable literature, drugs, alcoholic beverages, panmasala etc. is liable for expulsion.
* Boarder concerned will have to pay full cost along with a penality for any damage to the school /hostel property.

Mess Etiquette

All Boarders are expected to observe table manners:

* Admission to mess shall be in proper dress.
* No meal will be taken to room unless otherwise permitted by the school Medical Officer.
* Boarders may recite say prayers before their meals.
* Wastage of food must be avoided otherwise it shall be considered as an act of indiscipline.
* Behave properly with mess employees. Complaints ,if any, should be reported to the Warden/House-Master / Staff Member present in the mess.
